Privacy Policy

 Menos Global Ltd.

This Privacy Policy forms part of ‘The Contract’ between Menos Global Ltd. and a Member and also forms part of the Company’s Terms and Conditions for each and every type of Membership. 

At Menos Global Ltd., we are committed to protecting your privacy. 

1. Definitions 

1.1 The Company: means Menos Global Ltd. including any and all of its subsidiaries. 

1.2 You: means either a natural person or an entity, who has joined the Company and has been accepted as a Member by Menos Global Ltd.


2. Introduction 

This Privacy Policy details the current privacy policies and practices of Menos Global Ltd. in relation to the collection, handling, use, and disclosure of personal information. It also deals with how you can complain about a breach or suspected breach of this privacy policy or privacy legislation applicable to your country of residence, and how you can access the personal information we hold about you and how to have that information corrected. 

3. What Information is Collected and How it is Used 

3.1 You agree to provide Menos Global Ltd. with the information requested for the purposes of identity verification and to assist in the Company with the detection of money laundering, and/or terrorist financing, and/or fraud, or any other financial crime, and permit Menos Global Ltd. to keep a record of such information that you provide. 

3.2 You are required to complete certain verification procedures before you are permitted to use the Company’s platforms, websites, or apps. Menos Global Ltd. asks you for the information it needs to verify your identity and place of residence, and support such services that are provided by the Company in order to facilitate the provision of depositing, accrual, and withdrawal of payments of traded currencies. The information requested may include a broad range of personal information, including but not limited to, your name, address, contact details, IP address, device information, operating system, web log information, passport number, driver’s license number, bank account numbers, and digital currency account information. In providing Menos GLobal Ltd. with this or any other information that may be required, you confirm that the information is accurate and authentic. You agree to keep Menos Global Ltd. updated if any of the information you provide changes. 

3.3 You authorise Menos Global Ltd. to provide the information that you furnish to identity verification services (KYC), credit bureaus, or to the Company’s customer support team to enable them to verify your identity under Anti-Money Laundering legislation, and any other such type of legislation that is or may come into effect, and to protect you and other users of our platforms, websites, and apps from fraud and other illegal activities. Menos Global Ltd. also provides your personal information if requested by law enforcement or government agency. 

3.4 Menos Global Ltd. also uses your information to enable it to manage your ongoing requirements and its relationship with you. For example: to process transactions, troubleshoot problems, prevent or investigate illegal or potentially illegal activities, and to customise and improve the Company’s platforms, websites, and apps for your or other Member’s benefit. 

3.5 Menos Global Ltd. may also use your information to send you offers, updates, events, articles, newsletters or other information about products and services that we believe will be of interest to you electronically unless you advise the Company in writing that you do not wish to receive such electronic communications. Menos Global Ltd. may also send you regular updates by email, however, you always have the option of electing not to receive these communications and you can unsubscribe at any time by notifying us that you wish to do so.

3.6 Menos Global Ltd. may also use your information internally to help improve its services and help resolve any problems. 

4. What Happens if You do not provide all the Information 

If you do not provide Menos Global Ltd. with all of the information that is requested, the Company may not be able to verify your identity and as such you may not be able to be accepted as a Member and therefore not be able to open a trading account with  Menos Global Ltd. or use the Company’s platforms, websites or apps. 

5. How Your Information is Held and Protected

 
5.1 Menos Global Ltd. strives to maintain the relevance, reliability, accuracy, completeness and currency of the personal information it holds; and to protect its privacy and security. We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with any applicable legal or ethical reporting or document retention requirements. 

5.2 Menos Global Ltd. holds the information collected from you in a highly secure data center and ensures that your information is safe by managing access controls, such as identity, access management, permissions and security credentials. Access to personal information is only granted to selected Company Managers to carry out duties required to support our customers. Strong, multi-factor authentication is used and access is revoked when no longer required. 

5.3 We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. 

6. Access To Your Information 

You are able at any time to send a written request to the Company’s Customer Support Team for details of your personal information that is not viewable within your Member’s back office. 

7. Collection Of Web Data

7.1 Anonymous data 

Menos Global Ltd. uses technology to collect anonymous information about the use of its platform. For example, when you browse the platform our service provider logs your server address, the date and time of your visit, the pages and links accessed and the type of browser used. It does not identify you personally and we only use this information for statistical purposes and to improve the content and functionality of our website, to better understand our Members and our markets and to improve our products and services. 

7.2 Cookies 

i. In order to collect this anonymous data, Menos Global Ltd. may use “cookies”. Cookies are small pieces of information which are sent to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are utilised by almost all websites that you visit and allow websites and browsers to operate more efficiently, improve your browsing experience as well as provide anonymous information to the owners of the site. 

ii. Sometimes, cookies identify users where the platform requires information to be retained from one page to the next. This is purely to increase the functionality of the site. Menos Global Ltd. may use cookies to recognise you as a customer and user of the Company’s websites and/or platforms, to customise the Company’s services and advertising, and to collect information in order to alleviate the risk of fraud and illegal conduct. We may also utilise cookies to assist in delivering targeted advertising campaigns at certain times through third party sites. 

iii. Cookies do not damage your computer and you can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie so that you can decide if you want to accept it. You can also deactivate the use of cookies if you do not want to receive targeted advertising although however, this may impact the operation of the website. In order to provide a more user-friendly experience and enhance security, cookies will also be used to allow our website to recognise your computer when you return in the future. 

8. Updating Your Personal Information

If your personal information changes then it is your responsibility to update those details in your back office. In the event you are unable to update your details in the back office, you must advise customer support with a request to update your personal information and provide any support documentation requested. 

9. Addressing Your Concerns 

If you have any concerns about whether Menos Global Ltd. has complied with the legislated Privacy Act or Regulations of the country or jurisdiction in which you reside, or complied with the requirements of this Privacy Policy, please submit a support request by email to support@Menosglobal.com. Your concern will be addressed by Menos Global Ltd. through our internal resolution process, and the Company endeavours to rectify any breach and respond to you within ten (10) business days of your submission. 

10. Your Consent 

By joining Menos Global Ltd. and becoming a Member and using the Company’s platforms, websites, apps and services, you consent to the collection and use of the information you have provided to Menos Global Ltd. and agree to and be bound by all the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
